OVERVIEW
Communication & Media explores areas of print media, electronic, international media and telecommunications. Students are trained to think critically about how media reflects, represents and influences the world whilst keeping up with the latest news, information and technologies.
SPECIALISATION
Technical Communication
Technical Communication exposes students to technical communication, information design and instructional design in corporate communications. Corporate Communication focuses on how organisations handle their internal and external communications
Marketing Communication
Marketing Communication focuses on explaining, predicting and influencing consumer behaviour. Students are exposed to knowledge around advertising and marketing.
Communications and New Media
Communications and New Media Focuses on the use of Interactive media on digital platforms. Students are exposed to digital media design and development, digital methods of data collection and analysis, and related contextual and social issues
Film and Media Studies
Film and Media Studies focuses on various aspects of the film industry such as a production, script writing or critic through theoretical and practical approaches to provide analytical and professional skills.
