Background

Central Johannesburg TVET College (CJC) was established on 11th September 2003 and is one of 50 public TVET colleges in South Africa operating under the auspices of the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The College offers national accredited programmes, i.e. National Technical Education (NATED) and National Certificate (Vocational) NC(V). These programmes are quality assured by Umalusi, the Coucil for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training, to ensure a national standard.
