  • Our services are intended for South African learners, their parents/guardians, and stakeholders in the education sector.

2. Our Services Include

  • Personalized course and career recommendations based on user inputs and assessments.
  • Assisted application submission to higher education institutions, TVET colleges, and bursary schemes.
  • Application tracking, alerts, and WhatsApp/email/SMS communication.
  • General education and career planning information.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
  • Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes.

4. Payment and Processing Fees

  • Some services (like assisted applications) are subject to processing fees, displayed transparently before purchase.
  • Payment indicates user’s consent to proceed and authorizes UniAppSA to submit applications on their behalf.
  • All payments are final and non-refundable, except in cases of billing errors or service failure attributable to UniAppSA.

5. Parental Consent for Minors

For users under 18:

  • A POPIA-compliant digital consent form must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian.
  • Consent may be verified via WhatsApp with a signed declaration or digital signature, or via webform linked to the guardian profile & contact details.

6. Career Advice Disclaimer

You understand that we offer career information (“Products”), as created and/or verified by our service, which is built using advanced machine learning and benchmarked against psychometric evaluation standards.

You acknowledge and accept that:

  • We are not registered career counsellors.
  • We do not provide HPCSA-accredited career guidance.
  • Our career suggestions are for informational purposes only and do not replace professional counseling or assessment.

7. Assisted Applications Disclaimer

  • While we assist with applications and ensure due diligence, we do not guarantee admission to any institution or success in bursary funding.
  • Each institution reserves the right to admit or reject applicants based on its own criteria and discretion.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, software, branding, logos, documentation, and intellectual property remain the property of UniAppSA or its partners. Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • UniAppSA shall not be held liable for any loss, delay, rejection, or miscommunication relating to course recommendations or applications.
  • Our services are provided “as-is” and without warranty, express or implied.

10. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Breach these terms.
  • Use the Services for unlawful purposes.
  • Submit fraudulent, abusive, or harmful content.

11. Changes to Terms

These terms may be updated occasionally. We will notify users via the Platform and/or WhatsApp. Continued use of the Services indicates your acceptance of any updates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by South African law. Any disputes shall be adjudicated in courts within South Africa.
