About The Organization:

VKB Group is a leading agricultural company in South Africa. It supports the farming industry and also helps build young talent through bursaries. SAICA (South African Institute of Chartered Accountants) is the official body for Chartered Accountants in South Africa.

Established in 2005 by South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), the Thuthuka Bursary assists disadvantaged African and coloured students who want to study to become CAs(SA).

About The Bursary Programme (What Does The Bursary Cover? ):

The VKB SAICA Bursary covers:
Tuition fees
Textbooks
Accommodation
Meals
Possible vacation work or internship opportunities

Eligibility Requirements – Who Qualifies For Funding?:

You’re a South African citizen
You’re in Grade 12 or already studying towards a BCom Accounting degree
You meet the entry requirements for a CA(SA) study path
You have strong marks in Maths and Accounting

Disqualified From Applying – Who Should Not Apply?:

You’re not studying or planning to study towards becoming a CA(SA)
You don’t meet the academic requirements
You already receive full funding from another source

Complete the bursary application form.

Upload certified copies of your ID, latest results, and proof of application to a university.
