Aerospace Training Academy of South Africa is a private institution of higher learning. The journey of Aerospace Training Academy began seven years ago with an ambitious professional having aspirations to take it to the pinnacle of quality education, nationally and internationally. The first challenge was, and still is, to change the South African aviation industry mindset, to welcome the new training approach ATASA is offering. We are the first Aviation Academy in South Africa to offer career paths in aviation with academic qualifications. Our programmes are approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) and accredited by Quality Council for Trades & Occupations (QCTO). All programs are registered with SAQA (South African Qualification Authority), and require a National Senior Certificate Grade 12, with endorsement, as appropriate for admission to higher education for a certificate or diploma.
With campuses in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, ATASA gives students the skills and confidence to excel in aviation engineering, piloting, and aircraft maintenance.
