The National University of Lesotho (NUL) is the oldest and largest university in Lesotho, located mainly in Roma (about 34 km from Maseru). It offers a wide variety of programmes across faculties such as Agriculture, Education, Health Sciences, Humanities, Law, Science & Technology and Social Sciences. Established originally in 1945 (as Pius XII College) and re-chartered in 1975 under its current name.
